Alisa Baker is a California artist and lawyer, and wanted a site to serve both her personal and professional needs. At her suggestion, I designed the site around motifs from Henri Matisse. The resulting site suits Alisa's offbeat style, providing a space in which her photos, prints, and articles on tax law can live together in relative harmony.
The site runs entirely on PHP, with a MySQL database backend. Alisa wanted to be able to edit and add to the site herself, so I designed a user-friendly set of administration tools to allow her to edit, create, and arrange pages, as well as set up password protected realms and authorized users.
