Levine & Baker LLP is a small, recently-launched San Francisco law firm. They wanted a site that would clearly explain their work to clients and colleagues, showcase their articles and publications, and support their monthly newsletter, Baker's Choice. I worked closely with the partners to create an inviting, intelligent site that looks markedly different from the stock-photo-rich sites of their competitors. The design evolved out of a sketch of the San Francisco skyline drawn by one of the partners; the original drawing was only meant for reference, but we all liked the soft, friendly feel it gave to the site.

The site runs on PHP with a MySQL backend, using a flexible content management system I built myself. In addition to standard CMS tasks like adding and edit pages, the system allows non-technical users to create and send rich-text newsletters and manage their contacts.
